Mouillé is a new beachwear brand created by partners Sarah Turner and Abhijeet Ajjan.

They decided on the company name of Mouillé, conveniently meaning 'wet' or 'moist' in french, due to Sarah's passion for french culture and the south of France being one of her favourite holiday destinations.

Sarah Turner, aged 23, who graduated with a Bachelors of Design in 2006, majored in fashion design from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia. Since graduating she has kept herself busy by working in retail, completing many work placements with luxury women's wear labels, doing freelance work for designers and at the same time continuing to design swimwear, take part in fashion shows and make as many contacts in the international fashion industry as possible.

Sarah's inspiration comes from all her time spent growing up around beach culture, from her home countries, Australia and the USA, to her global and European travel. Tropical places such as Miami, Hawaii, Queensland, the Greek Islands and other exotic locations play a big influence on the design aesthetics of this fresh brand.

"I love beach culture. It's so fun, fresh and colourful. I believe there is a huge market for luxury beachwear, especially as people are starting to travel more and explore their horizons."

Sarah's fiance and business partner, Abhijeet Ajjan, aged 28, studied and majored in Business at university. Although studying and working in the hotel industry for the past 5 years he has always had a strong interest in fashion business.

"We have high ambitions for Mouillé. We know that it will take a lot of hard work, determination and patience but we both believe in it so much."

Together, they make a great, well-balanced team, both hoping to achieve a recognized brand of high quality and stylish beachwear in the next 5-6 years.
